Terms and Conditions – The Windmill Inn
Please take the time to review our terms and conditions before making a booking or using our services. By using any of our services, including room reservations, dining, or other facilities, you agree to the terms outlined below.
General Conduct
We ask all guests to behave in a respectful and considerate manner. Any behavior that disrupts the enjoyment of other guests or staff, or violates health and safety standards, may result in being asked to leave the premises without a refund.
Booking Policy (Rooms & Large Groups)
By confirming a booking, you are entering into a legal contract with The Windmill Inn. We recommend that you arrange your own insurance to cover any potential losses. The final balance for room bookings is due upon arrival. Should any outstanding charges remain, you consent to us contacting you and/or using the payment details provided to recover costs.
We do not allow pets in any of our buildings or rooms. Smoking is prohibited in all indoor areas.
For large group bookings, including dining or special events, a deposit may be required. This deposit is non-refundable under any circumstances.
Alcoholic Beverages
We reserve the right to refuse service of alcoholic beverages to any guest who is intoxicated or behaving inappropriately. We adhere to all legal requirements regarding the sale of alcohol, including age restrictions. Valid identification may be required.
Dining and Facilities
The Windmill Inn offers sit-down dining, including a Sunday carvery, as well as outdoor seating, a children's play area, and a pool table. Guests are requested to supervise children in the play area at all times for their safety.
We make every effort to accommodate group bookings, but prior reservations are advised, especially for larger parties.
Non-Availability of Services
In the unlikely event that we are unable to provide your booked accommodation, dining reservation, or other services, we will do our best to find a suitable alternative or offer a full refund if necessary.
Damages and Breakages
Guests are responsible for any damage or breakages caused to the property or its contents. If any incidents occur, please notify us immediately. We reserve the right to charge for any significant damages, and you agree that we may contact you and/or use the payment details provided to recover these costs.
Liability
We do not accept liability for any loss, damage, or injury to any guest, member of their party, or their personal property, including vehicles, unless caused by a negligent act by The Windmill Inn or its employees.
Cancellation Policy
For room bookings, free cancellation is available if notice is given at least 24 hours before the arrival date. Cancellations made on the day of arrival will incur a charge equivalent to the first night’s stay.
For large group bookings or events, deposits are non-refundable, regardless of the cancellation notice period.
In the event of a 'No Show,' we reserve the right to charge the full cost of your booking. By confirming your booking, you agree that we may contact you and/or use the payment details provided to recover the balance.
If a reservation is made within 24 hours of your scheduled arrival, you will automatically enter the cancellation period.
Privacy Policy / Data Protection
Your privacy is important to us. Any personal information collected during the booking process will be stored securely and will not be shared with any third parties without your consent.
